After listening to the ideas of a Mexican political activist and observing the way he defended them with strength, I have decided, as a way of peaceful demonstration and within my human possibilities, to begin the publication of brief literary fragments that support the base to CONSCIOUSLY DISOBEY; and CONSCIOUSLY DISOBEY refers to: practice your rights as citizen, to practice the right to think and transform this thought into action for a common good, but above all, to exercise your rights and to base your actions with the framework of an objective humanistic ethics point of view which Erich Fromm describes in his book Ethics and Psychoanalysis:
"In sum: the "good" in the humanist ethics is the affirmation of life, the spread of the powers of man. The virtue is the responsibility toward one's own existence. The "bad" constitutes the mutilation of the potential of man. Vice is irresponsibility to oneself."
You, who had the opportunity to read this, are within those who can practice CONSCIOUS DISOBEDIENCE and therefore, can also practice CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE. It is our duty, for those who do not have access to this type of information, TO DISOBEY.
What is civil disobedience?
From my perspective and with support in the speech "On voluntary servitude by Étienne de la Boétie" written in the book by Cive Pérez and that I transcribe at the end of this paragraph; civil disobedience is a conscious act that allows you to exercise your rights as a citizen, and aims to achieve, that we the "fortunate" (that exercise this right by the application of knowledge, in the way that is) and the less fortunate (that are limited in the application of knowledge, through the lack of access to this type of information) of our country (Mexico), we are able to have access to a dignified life.
A people is enslaved, kill themselves when facing the option to be a vassal or a free man. They defect their freedoms and the yoke shall anoint , allow their own misery or, it is fitting to say, seem to give welcome. If it costs nothing to the people to regain their freedom, they would not have urged the action with such a purpose, although there is nothing that a human should have in higher esteem than the restoration of their own natural rights. Stop being a beast of burden to become a man again, so to speak. I do not ask much boldness, then I prefer the doubt of certainty of living in misery than the certainty of living as I desire.
Those who hold sway over you only have two eyes, only two hands, a body, nothing else that has the final of the infinite number of men that inhabit your cities. In fact, they do not have more than the power that you bestow them anyway to destroy you. Where did they get enough eyes to spy on you, if you did not provide them with your own? How can they have so many arms to beat you, if they did not borrow them from among you? The feet that smash your cities, where did they come from, if not from you? How can thet have power over us, but because we are the bestow? When would dare attack us if we do not count with your help? What could you do without your connivance with the thief who plunder us, if we will not be an accomplice to the murder who kill us, if you were not traitors to ourselves?
From all of these indignity, that neither the own beast of the field would tolerate, can deliver if you try, not by the action but merely with the desire to be free.
Solve in not serve more and will be free at the moment. I do not ask to put your hands over the tyrant to the knock it, but simply to stop sustain him. Then you´ll see him, as a big colossus on which remove its pedestal, fall from its own heights and shatter.
